Red Bellied Parrot
(Poicephalus rufiventris)
The Red Bellied Parrot is part of the poicephalus family. Also in this group is the Senagal parrot which might be a little more well known. The Red Belly is probably one of the better talkers of the family, the male's have more red on their chest while the females have grey with red flecks. This little one was born December 3, 2011. They will be ready to go to a happy family in about a month.
